On our way to Cape town, we of course stopped at the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. We spend half a day there admiring the view and wildlife we discovered and of course walked up to Cape Point for the obligatory kiss for a life full of good hope together. After that we drove to Cape Town where we dropped off our car. We checked into our hostel and then spent the rest of the day enjoying the evening sun at the waterfront and habour, having a lovely dinner and watching a sea lion playing around in the water. The next day we literally discovered Cape Town by foot. We started walking at 11 am and reached our destination at 5 pm. 😉 And all the time we walked along the coastline until we reached one of the better areas in Cape Town, where there is a promenade with nice restaurants along the beach. We treated ourselves to one last nice meal, in exchange for not having the chance to hike up Table Mountain as it was too cloudy, and also because it was our last evening in South Africa. The next morning we got up early to see the colourful neighbourhood BoCap and then it was already time to head to the airport. Believe it or not, our 6 weeks in South Africa flew by in no time. We were sad to leave amd would have loved to stay longer for sure.
