Our first night on a camping ground was at lake Tekapo, which has a stunning scenery due to its clear blue colour and the snow covered alps in the background. Unfortunately the day was misty and the mountains were covered by clouds. Nevertheless, still a beautiful place to stay especially when you are on your own, as we were last night.
