Our third day started on the lake again in search for the otters, but they were still not to be found. We also walked through the swamps that day, which Mathias loved. I was mostly afraid a snake would sneak up on me under the water :). In the evening we went piranha fishing and got to taste them for dinner as well. The next morning on Day 4, we went to search for the otters again before sunrise. But it was not meant to be. We left the jungle then without seeing these impressive creatures. We still had a fantastic time in the Amazon.
