Our first stop in Colombia was Cali. We flew here from Quito and visited my uncle Ciro and my cousins. We spent three lovely days with them and they showed us around their city. It was a full program from getting to know the local food of course, the old part of town, the salsa culture and spending time with the family. On the fourth day we started our road trip with my uncle and drove to Popayan. Popayan is one of the oldest towns in Colombia and after Cartagena the second best preserved colonial town.
