Mindo is a small village 2 hours outside of Quito in the middle of the cloud forest in Ecuador. It is a famous spot to see beautiful butterflies and birds. Of course, Mathias wanted to go there :). We did a day trip there and first visited a chocolate farm for me and later went on a small hike. I managed to take a few pictures of some of the butterflies with the tablet, but the birds were just too quick or too far away for the camera :).
