Valparaíso is located northwest of Santiago and is one of the South Pacific’s most important seaports. With travellers it is mostly known for its spectacular faded beauty of its chaotic hills, maze of steep, sinuous streets, alleys and stairways and tons of street art everywhere. We had a day trip planned here, but in the end only had 3 hours, as all late buses were booked out and we had to already head back in the early afternoon. It was still worth coming here though, even if it was a bit rushed.
